Accessories can include all kinds of parts, from the pads,
batteries, dummies, and training devices found in other sections of this site. When buying an AED for your home, business, or place of public accomodation it is important to have appropriate signage and storage, in addition to getting training on AED use for as many of your employees as possible. There are also extra pads, batteries, and practice dummies available in addition to the videos and DVDs that are useful for training purposes. When in doubt, ask youself if the average person would be able to locate and operate the defibrillator within one minute of a collapse.

get training and instructions for using these lifesaving devices. Even though
they can be used by amateurs in an emergency, training not only makes you more
familiar with the equipment and CPR principles, it also helps you stay calm in
an emergency and render lifesaving aid!
